Stargell was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1988. During his 21-year career with the Pirates, “Pops” batted .282, with 2,232 hits, 475 home runs and 1,540 RBI’s, helping his team capture two National League pennants and two World Series titles in 1971 and 1979. Manufacturer: Louisville Slugger Model Number: K55 Length: 34.5 inches Weight: 32.65 ounces. This bat shows evidence of outstanding game use with ball and bat rack marks throughout the barrel. The player number “8” is handwritten on the bottom of the bat. Stargell signed the bat with a personalized inscription and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA and a PSA/DNA Pre-Cert LOA.
