Offered is a grouping of Juan Gonzalez caps and a batting helmet. Both caps are New Era manufactured size “6 7-8” and “7” respectively. Handwritten inside the buckram of the BP cap is “GON 20” and handwritten under the bill of the game cap is the player number “19” in period black marker. Gonzalez signed the bill of the BP cap and underneath the bill of the game cap in silver or black marker and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 7. Sweat and baseball related staining are present. The helmet is ABC manufactured size “7 1-4”. The dating clock shows 1992. Gonzalez signed the outside shell of the helmet in silver marker with the added inscription “1992 AL Home Run King” and in our opinion the signature rates a 4 with smudging. These items are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and show wear. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
