Enshrined into the Hall of Fame in in 1999, Lawrence Taylor was a ten-time Pro Bowler, a ten-time All-Pro, three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and two-time Super Bowl Champion. BIKE manufactured navy blue helmet. On the front bumper reads “GIANTS” and on the back is player number “56”. Adjacent to the number is the warning label. On both sides of the helmet reads “GIANTS”. The clips read the year “89”. On the inside left jaw is a label that reads, “This helmet has been recertified 1990” and an “ALL-AMERICAN” label. On the right jaw there is another warning label and a caution label. There are numerous signatures all over the shell that vary in quality with many of them faded out. All padding is intact. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and a Taylor LOA. This helmet was sourced from Taylor's son along with LT's Super Bowl ring after their NJ home was damaged by super storm sandy. We believe this to be the only helmet that LT kept from his tenure with the Giants making it quite significant.
