Lester Hayes is a two-time Super Bowl champion, was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1980 and was named to the NFL 1980s All-Decade Team. On the right inseam is a tag that reads, “100% NYLON” with washing instructions. Inside below the rear collar is a “TAVEGGIA & BRUSATI” “Sand Knit” distributor’s tag and below is a “Sand-Knit” size “42” manufacturer’s tag. The player number “37” appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve. Across the back reads the player name “HAYES” on a black mesh nameplate. All numbering and lettering are done in silver tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use.
