Inside on the rear collar is a “Rawlings” size “48” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached adjacent is a strip tag with “87 1” embroidered on it. Across the chest reads, “Twins” and the player number “18” appears on both the front and on the back. All numbering and lettering are done in red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the white pinstriped jersey. On the left sleeve is the team’s “TC” logo in red and navy blue tackle twill on white tackle twill. Inside on the rear waistline is a “Rawlings” size “36” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached adjacent is a strip tag with “18 87 2 29” embroidered on it. Our consignor tells us Steve Carlton joined the Twins a couple of weeks before Don Baylor. When Baylor joined the team in September, they quickly needed a same size jersey so the team changed one of Carlton's home jerseys from his No. 38 to Baylor's No. 18, mainly because Carlton wasn't pitching much at the time. It is sourced from the Los Angeles Angels clubhouse. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use.
