This 12k gold-filled charm weigh 9 grams, it features two pendants connected by a 4” chain. It was presented to Steve Balchios after he and his University of San Francisco Dons were crowned National Champions for the 1955-56 NCAA season. The first pendant measures ?” x ¾” and reads “N.C.A.A. NATIONAL COLLEGIATE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP” in relief, it has been engraved with the player name “Steve Balchios” and “1955-’56”. The second pendant measures 1” x 1” and has been engraved to read “TO STEVE BALCHIOS - U.S.F. - NCAA CHAMPIONS - 1955-1956” on one side and “FROM CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO - GEO. CHRISTOPHER - MAYOR”. The verso has also been stamped “1/20 12K LSP CO. G.F.”
