“SPALDING” manufactured basketball. Stamped on the ball is “SPALDING” and “Official Game Ball NBA” with Commissioner David Stern’s facsimile signature. The ball has been signed by 12 members of the 1995-96 Houston Rockets. Notable signatures include Hall of Famers Clyde Drexler with the added inscription “22” (1996 All-Star) and Hakeem Olajuwon with the added inscription “34” (1996 All-Star). Additional signatures include: Pete Chilcutt with the added inscription “32”, Mark Bryant with the added inscription “#2”, Chucky Brown with the added inscription “#52”, Eldridge Recasner with the added inscription “#3”, Robert Horry with the added inscription “25”, Tim Breaux with the added inscription “#15”, Sam Cassell with the added inscription “10”, Kenny Smith with the added inscription “30” and Mario Elie. Also featured on the ball is Head Coach Rudy Tomjanovich. All signatures are done in the same silver marker and in our opinion rate a 9 overall. We were told by our consignor that the basketball was originally acquired by former MLB player Orlando Merced. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and an additional LOA.
