Lot of two approximately 29” x 22” and 28.5” x 37” framed Brooklyn Dodgers newspapers from October 5, 1955 when the Dodgers won their first ever World Series Championship. One of the pages has been signed by Dodgers pitcher Johnny Podres who threw a complete game shutout in Game 7 to seal the victory and earned the World Series MVP award. The signature is done in blue ink and in our opinion rates a strong 9. The framed pieces are in EX condition with significant yellowing to the newspaper pages. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
