Centered on the front tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “42”, wash instructions and flag tag “SET 1 1980”. Below the rear collar is a grey strip tag with “42 42 80 1” in blue chain-stitching. Across the front reads “Mets”. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “42”. Across the back is the player name “HODGES” on a grey nameplate, which has been professionally restored. All lettering and numbering is done in the same blue on orange tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “Mets” logo patch embroidered in orange, blue and white on white tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
