“Rawlings” manufactured OAL MacPhail baseball. The ball has been signed by 20 members of the 1981 New York Yankees. Notable signatures include Hall of Famers Reggie Jackson (1981 All-Star), Dave Winfield (1981 All-Star & Silver Slugger) and Goose Gossage (1981 All-Star). Additional signatures include: Graig Nettles (1981 ALCS MVP), Dennis Werth, Lou Piniella, Oscar Gamble, George Frazier, Bob Watson, Dave LaRoche, Rick Reuschel, Bobby Murcer, Rick Cerone, Dave Revering, Barry Foote, Bobby Brown, Jerry Mumphrey, Bill Castro, Steve Balboni and Coach Mike Ferraro. All signatures are done in the same black ink except Ferraro who used a different ink which has significantly faded, in our opinion the signatures rate a strong 9 overall. The ball is in NM-MNT condition with some minor toning. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
