This gold-colored medal weighs 101 grams, it measures approximately 2.25” across and is 3/16” thick. It was presented to three-time NBA Champion and Hall of Fame Coach Alex Hannum during his playing days when he earned MVP honors for the AAU. The face of the medal reads “HELMS-OLYMPIC ATHLETIC FOUNDATION” in relief and features the casted image of an Olympic discus thrower, the Olympic torch and Hermes’ winged foot.
