Nice quality child's size cap by Weathermac Corp., 1955. Covered by actual animal fur and complete with 3" diameter thick cardboard attachment on front featuring photo of Fess Parker as Davy wearing his coonskin cap. As issued this is held in place by a pair of staples which show rust from age. Attachment itself remains totally bright, clean and glossy. Cap comes in original 13” x 9” 3” yellow “Walt Disney’s OFFICIAL DAVY CROCKETT” box featuring Fess Parker. Box is in NM-MT condition.
