Approximately 27” x 19” framed 1951 New York Yankees team photo. The photo features both Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle in the only season they played together. The bottom of the photo reads “New York Yankees 1951 - American League Champions” along with the players facsimile signatures below. The photo has been signed by 23 members of the 1951 World Champion New York Yankees. Notable signatures include Hall of Famers Johnny Mize, Joe DiMaggio (1951 All-Star), Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra (1951 All-Star & AL MVP) and Phil Rizzuto (1951 All-Star). Additional signatures include: Allie Reynolds, Gil McDougald (1951 AL Rookie of the Year), Bob Kuzava, Spec Shea, Johnny Sain, Ralph Houk, Jerry Coleman, Bobby Brown, Johnny Hopp, Hank Bauer, Joe Ostrowski, Ed Lopat (1951 All-Star), Gene Woodling, Charlie Silvera and Fred Sanford. Also featured are coaches Tommy Henrich, Jim Turner and Frankie Crosetti. All signatures are done in blue marker and in our opinion rate a strong 8 overall. The framed piece is in NM-MNT condition.
