Chasing the most hallowed record in baseball, unlikely hero Roger Maris edged out his more glorious teammate Mickey Mantle to capture the crown. This “Rawlings” Haiti manufactured Official League ball has been signed in black and blue ink by the immortal '61 Yankees home run duo, Mickey Mantle (ss) and Roger Maris on the panel below, in our opinion the signatures rate a strong 8. The added inscription on the ball reads “To: Howard Best Wishes”. The ball is in NM-MNT condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and a full PSA/DNA.
