On the front left tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “46”. Adjacent to the right appears to be the outline of where another tag once was. Adjacent below reads “Burgess - 45 61” in black chain-stitching. We believe “45” indicates a custom sized ordered shirt. Across the front reads “PIRATES”. Across the back is the player number “6”. All lettering and numbering is done in the same black on yellow felt. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. A rare all original flannel.
