The 3-time Cy Young Award winner, Pedro Martinez, was elected into the baseball Hall of Fame in 2015. On the inner front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with flag tag size “46”. On the left inseam is the “100% POLYESTER” tag with wash instructions. Across the front reads “Mets”. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “45”. Across the back is the player name “MARTINEZ”. All lettering and numbering is done in the same blue glacier on orange on black tackle twill. Between the second and third buttons are two corresponding velcro strips. On the left sleeve is the “Mets” logo patch embroidered in orange, blue and white. Adjacent below is the Majestic “M” embroidered in blue. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in orange, blue and white. We believe that this shirt may have been worn on the bench as it does not feature the custom opened sleeve that Pedro preferred to pitch in. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use.
