This jersey was worn by SP Madison Bumgarner during the 2014 Postseason as he led the San Francisco Giants to their third World Championship in five years. Bumgarner pitched 52.2 innings with a 1.03 ERA (0.25 career World Series ERA), two complete game shutouts and was credited with a save in Game 7 of the World Series defeating the Royals by a score of 3-2. He was named both the NLCS and World Series MVP for his absolutely dominating performances. Furthermore, Bumgarner won the Silver Slugger Award, Babe Ruth Award, Willie Mac Award, AP Male Athlete of the Year and was the Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year. During the 2014 regular season he hit two grand slams and became just the second pitcher in history to hit two grand slams in one season. On the front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with “SIZE 50”. On the outer left seam is a “COOL BASE” tag. On the left inseam are three tags reading “100% POLYESTER” with wash instructions, the year “2014” and “+1” sleeve”. Across the front reads “SAN FRANCISCO”. Across the back reads “BUMGARNER”. Adjacent below is the player number “40”. All lettering and numbering is done in the same black on orange on gold tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS BASEBALL CLUB” patch embroidered in orange, gold, black and white on grey tackle twill. Adjacent below is the the Majestic “M” embroidered in black. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in orange, black and white. Bumgarner has signed the “4” on the back of the jersey in white marker with the added inscription “GU 14”, in our opinion the signature rates a 9. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a full LOA from JSA and an additional LOA from Madison Bumgarner.
