This jersey was worn on July 30, 2008 by Atlanta Braves Manager Bobby Cox during a game against the St. Louis Cardinals. On the front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer's tag. Adjacent below is a white strip tag with “54 08 S2” embroidered in black. On the outer left seam is the “COOL BASE” tag. On the left inseam is the “100% POLYESTER” tag with wash instructions. Across the front reads “Braves” in scarlet on navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “BEACH” patch embroidered in navy blue on white tackle twill commemorating the death of former Braves player and coach Jim Beauchamp. Adjacent below is the Majestic “M” embroidered in navy blue. On the right sleeve is the “SKIP” patch embroidered in navy blue on white tackle twill commemorating the death of former Braves play-by-play announcer Skip Caray. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in navy blue, scarlet and white. Across the back is the coach’s name “COX” in navy blue tackle twill on a white nameplate. Adjacent below is the coach’s number “6” in scarlet on navy blue tackle twill. On the “6” is a “MLB” hologram with serial number “BB649376”. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as coaches-worn and in our opinion shows wear.
