An 8” x 10” black and white photograph of Mel Allen and Babe Ruth on “Babe Ruth Day” on 6/13/1948. The photograph shows Ruth speaking at home plate to a microphone. Accompanied by a 4” x 6” postcard of an overhead shot of Yankee Stadium signed by Allen with the added inscription “M.C. Silver Anniversary at Yankee Stadium 1948” in red pen and in our opinion, rates a 9. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
