1990 Gary Carter San Francisco Giants Game-Used & Autographed Chest Protector, Shin Guards (3)(JSA • Carter Foundation LOA)

Eleven-time All-Star and World Series Champion Gary Carter was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003. On the strap of the chest protector is an “ALL-STAR” manufacturer’s tag. On another strap reads “ALL-STAR CP222-PRO”. On the rear collar, player number “8” is written in black marker. On the chest reads “ALL-STAR” and above, Carter signed the front collar in black marker and in our opinion, rates a 7. “ALL-STAR LG21W-PRO” manufactured shin guards. Garter signed each one in silver marker and in our opinion rates an 8 overall. These items are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and in our opinion show appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and a Carter Foundation LOA.

Lots 128–136 presented in this auction are consigned to us directly from the Carter Family in an effort to raise money for their charity, The Gary Carter Foundation.

The Gary Carter Foundation aims to better the physical, mental and spiritual well being of children as well as its primary focus, the Autism Project of Palm Beach County.
