Steve Henderson was one of the five players traded for Tom Seaver. Inside the front tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “42”. Attached is a flag tag with “Set 1 1978”. Adjacent is a strip tag with “42 78 5” indicating jersey size. year and player number, respectively. Across the front is “Mets”. Player number “5” appears on both the front and back. Player name “HENDERSON” appears on back on a white nameplate which has been professionally restored. All these numbers and letters are done in blue on orange tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the team disc patch. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
