Eli Manning was drafted as the first overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers and immediately traded to the New York Giants. Manning won the MVP award in Super Bowl XLII in 2008 after leading the Giants to victory over the previously undefeated New England Patriots. On February 5, 2012 he again led his team to victory in Super Bowl XLVI in which Manning again won MVP honors and also set a new Super Bowl record with nine consecutive completions to start the game. Manning is one of five quarterbacks who have won multiple Super Bowl MVP awards. This shirt was worn on November 26, 2006 vs. the Tennessee Titans where Eli threw for 148 yards and one TD. On the left front tail is the “Reebok” manufacturer’s tag with attached flag tags “2”LB” and “50”. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with “06-50”. Player number “10” appears on the front back and on both shoulders. Player name “MANNING” appears across the back on white nameplate. All numbers and letters are done in red tackle twill. The sleeves are custom QB opened and feature the Reebok logo patch. At the V-neck is the “NFL Equipment” logo shield with adjacent “NY” embroidered in red. Inside the front drawstrings of the grey pants is the same “Reebok” tag with attached size “36” flag tag. On the inner waistband is a strip tag with “06” with player number “10” written in black marker. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Steiner LOA.
