There was no number “39” on the 1963 Dodgers roster but it was retired by the orginization for HOFer Roy Campanella. In 1963 there was a minor league player named Larken who may have worn this in spring training. On the left front tail is the “McAuliffe” manufacturer’s tag. Below are the year “63” and size “46” labels. Adjacent is a felt strip tag with “Larken” embroidered in blue chain stitch. There was no such player on the 1963 roster. Across the front is “Dodgers” in blue felt. Number “39” appears on front in red felt and on back in blue felt. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as spring training used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Appears to be all original
