Manuf: LVS, Model: I13L, Length: 33-7/8 in, Weight: 32.6 oz, Wood: Maple, Condition: Cracked at the handle Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the left and back barrel. Cleat marks are visible on the right and back barrel. Also visible are bat rack streaks and and an impression of a weighted batting sleeve. A light coat of pine tar appears on the upper handle. Also visible is the impression from a weighted batting sleeve. Player number “5” is written on the knob end and top barrel. On the knob is “GA-ME and “4-2”. Pujols has signed the front barrel in black marker adding the inscription “5” rating a 7-8. Overall: Heavy use. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA graded GU10 as well as a LOA from JSA for the signature. The bat is photomatched to the first inning home run of Game 1 of the 2004 NLDS on October 5, 2004 as well as the fourth inning home run of Game 4 on October 10, 2004. The PSA/DNA LOA which accompanies this bat states “We have attached photos of Pujols hitting a home run in his first at bat of the 2004 NLCS. We believe the subject bat is pictured. Photos, due to lack of detail, cannot confirm a true match. However, several marks on the barrel as well as the black 5 in the cupped end match closely the subject (this) bat. It is our opinion that they are one in the same”. Further accompanied by a Tony LaRussa COA.
