Ozzie Smith was elected to the HOF in 2002. On the inner sweat band is the “New Era” manufacturer’s label with adjacent “Authentic Diamond Collection” and size “7-1/4” labels. Player number “1” and name “SMITH” are written under the bill in black marker. On the back is the official MLB logo, the first year on caps was 1992. The cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use with sweat staining on the inner band.
