Cal Ripken, Jr. was a nineteen time All-Star, a member of the 3,000 hit club and his record 2,632 straight games spanned over seventeen seasons, from May 30, 1982, to September 20, 1998. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2007. On the inner sweatband is the “New Era” manufacturer’s tag with adjacent “7-3/8 New Era” flag tag. Player number “8” is written under the bill in black marker. Ripken has signed the outer bill in silver marker rating an 8. MLB logo on back. The cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use with sweat staining. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.

Please note that a correction and/or update has been made to this lot and the printed catalog differs from what is online.
