This jersey was worn by Paul Westphal on the Celtics during the 1974-75 season. It was then renamed and issued to Danny Ainge during his rookie era, circa 1982. On the left front tail is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “44”. Directly above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Boston Celtics” tag. Across the front is “CELTICS”. Player number “44” appears on both the front and back. Player name “AINGE” appears across the back. All numbers and letters are done in green tackle twill. There is a name change on back with the outline of “WESTPHAL” remaining. The jersey shows game-use and other than the team name change appears to have no further alterations of any kind. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
