Isiah Thomas played point guard for the Detroit Pistons from 1981 until 1994. He led the "Bad Boys" to the NBA Championship in the 1988-89 and 1989-90 seasons. During the NBA's 50th anniversary, he was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. Hall of Fame, class of 2000. On the left front tail is the “MacGregor Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag which is a custom tag as the factory did not have a size “40” tag available. Attached is the size “40” flag tag. Above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Detroit Pistons”. Adjacent is a strip tag with “89”. Across the front is “PISTONS”. Player number “11” appears on both the front and back. All these numbers and letters are done in red paint with a white border. Player name “THOMAS” appears on back in white heat transferred vinyl letters. Thomas has signed the back in silver marker rating a 6 which is faded. On the left breast is the official NBA embroidered logo. The jersey shows game-use and other than the custom tag appears to have no further alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature. Further accompanied by a LOA on Detroit Pistons letterhead signed by Assistant Head Coach Brendan Malone.
