Bruce Smith was a member of the Buffalo Bills teams that played in four consecutive Super Bowls as AFC champions. The holder of the NFL career record for quarterback sacks, Smith was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009, his first year of eligibility. On the left front tail is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “44”. Adjacent is the “1992 Designed Exclusively for the Buffalo Bills” tag. Player number “78” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves in white screen print with a red border. Player name “B. SMITH” appears on back in white screened on block letters on a blue nameplate. There is a half inch unrepaired hole to the left of the nameplate on back. The sleeves each have an elastic spandex hem and feature the Champion “C” embroidered logo. At the V-neck is the official “NFL” embroidered logo shield. The jersey is game-issued showing no use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
