1961 New York Yankees World Series Press Pin

This original 1961 New York Yankees World Series press pin weighs five grams and measures one inch across. The pin was given to members of the press and special dignitaries were given these pins to gain access to press areas not intended for the public. The pin reads “WORLD SERIES 1961 YANKEE STADIUM PRESS”. It features a Yankees cap enameled in blue and two bats. The perimeter of the pin is enameled in red and white and the back is stamped “BALFOUR”. The pin is in VGEX condition overall.
