Goose Gossage was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2008. Inside the left front tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “48”. Attached is a white flag tag with “SET 1 1989”. Across the front is “GIANTS”. Player number “54” appears on back. Player name “GOSSAGE” appears on back on a white nameplate which appears to have been lettered locally. All numbers and letters are done in black on orange tackle twill. Gossage has signed the front in blue marker rating a 7-8 with light bleeding. On the right sleeve is “Rawlings” embroidered in black. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
