The leader of the team that won three World Championships in the 1980s, HOFer Larry Bird was the NBA Finals MVP in 1984 and 1986. He was also the NBA MVP for three consecutive seasons from 1984 through 1986 and was initially the 1980 NBA Rookie of the Year. On the inside back collar of the jacket is the "Champion" manufacturers tag with size "46" on it. Next to this tag is the "YEAR 1991" "BODY LENGTH +3" "SLEEVE LENGTH +3" exclusive tag. Across the front of the jacket is "CELTICS" in green on yellow tackle twill. On the right breast is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. On each sleeve is the official "Celtics Shamrock" logo green on yellow tackle twill. On the back is "BIRD" in white tackle twill on a green name plate. On the inside back waistband of the pants is the "Champion" manufacturers tag with size "36" on it. Next to this tag is the "YEAR 1991" "INSEAM 38" "RISE +2" exclusive tag. On the right upper waist is the official "NBA" embroidered logo. On the left upper waist is the "Champion" logo patch. The jacket and pants show wear and there appears to be no alterations of any kind.
