17-1/2" x 22-3/4" large bound volume of the New York Times from October 1-15, 1935. Great pre-WWII articles including a Sunday Magazine featuring the Italian Army in Eritrea. Binding is tight, newspapers show some yellowing due to age, a few very small tears evident throughout. The June 7, 1918 issue of The Portland Evening Express lists Babe Ruth in left field for the Red Sox in a 1-0 shutout of the Yankees.
