Letter dated March 16, 1894 on his letterhead "Office of P.F. Garrett, Sheriff of Dona Ana County," handwritten and signed by the infamous Pat Garrett, the infamous sheriff who is believed to have tracked down and killed Billy the Kid. Content regards personal property in another county and is signed "P.F. Garrett" on the back, which can be seen through a clear window. Matted and framed to 16" x 26" with a photo of Garrett, frame is loose at the corners.
