One of the most influential figures in American culture, Jackie Robinson made his debut in baseball as a rookie in 1947, breaking the color barrier and changing the sport, and America forever. In his first season, he excelled even under intense pressure and finished as the National League Rookie of the Year. Over the ten seasons that followed, Robinson earned an MVP award, played on six all-star teams, stole home a record 11 times, and led his team to the post-season six times. This ONL Ford Frick ball has been signed on the side panel "Jackie Robinson" with an ink signature that rates a strong 7 to 8. The ball is cream colored and shows some light wear that in no way detracts from its visual appeal.
