HOFer Rickey Henderson’s resume is about a statistically impressive as you can find - 2x WS Champ, all-time leader in runs (2,295) and steals (1,406 - Lou Brock being #2 with 938), 1990 AL MVP. Once asked if he thought Henderson was a future Hall of Famer, statistician Bill James replied, “If you could split him in two, you’d have two Hall of Famers”. On the front left tail of this grey jersey, is the RUSSELL ATHLETIC manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “42”. Attached is a material tag that has been cut. Inside the front left tail is a team stamp “PURCHASED FROM OAKLAND ATHLETICS”. Team city “Oakland” is done across the front, player number “24” below that and on the back and player name “HENDERSON” is done across the back on a grey nameplate. All lettering and numbering is done in green on yellow tackle twill. Team Elephant with bats logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
