Elvin Hayes is an NBA champion, was named All-NBA First Team three times and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1990. Scoring nearly 30,000 points in his career, Hayes led the NBA in scoring in 1969. On the front left tail is a “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag. On the inside hanging off the rear collar is a “Rawlings” size “44 ADULT” tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is a tag that reads, “3 INCH EXTRA LENGTH”. Across the chest reads, “HOUSTON”, the player number “44” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “HAYES”. All numbering and lettering is done in white tackle twill sewn directly onto the red mesh jersey. There is a stain on the back player number “4” and on the “U”. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
