The controversial and fiery Hall of Fame goaltender for the New York Islanders, Billy Smith's intensity and instincts cemented an Islander dynasty that won four consecutive Stanley Cups from 1980-83. This New York Islanders home mesh jersey was worn by Smith during that incredible championship run. In the neck of the jersey is the "Pedersons" label with the size "XXL" and the player number "31" which has been written in black marker. On the back tail is the name "Pedersons" in blue swiss embroidered stitch. On the front of the jersey is the Islanders emblem in white/orange/blue tackle twill and on the back is a white mesh nameplate with the name "Smith" in blue tackle twill. The player number "31" appears on the back and both sleeves of the jersey in blue on orange tackle twill. The sleeves and the body of the jersey have been custom shortened for Smith. The jersey shows minor game wear. Smith has autographed the jersey on the upper-right front with his number and "Stanley Cup 80-83". The signature rates 8-9.
