Son of legendary Indy driver, Mario Andretti, Michael has continued the tradition of excellence established by his father. The 1984 Indy Rookie of the Year and 1991 CART National Champion, Michael has 41 career victories and continues to be one of the most popular drivers on the circuit. This blue and red padded racing suit was worn by Andretti circa 1989. In the collar of the suit is the "Sparco" tag, tri-lingual wash tag and a "Controllo A" tag. The suit, which is 100% aramid, is covered with numerous advertisements from Target, Rayovac, Goodyear and Scotch to Bosch Spark Plugs, Krylon, Speed Stick and Diet Pepsi. Andretti's strong 9 signature appears on the right chest in black Sharpie.
