As a member of the New Orleans Jazz, Maravich in familiar surroundings, peaked as an NBA superstar. He made the All-NBA First Team in 1976 and 1977 and the All-NBA Second Team in 1973 and 1978. In 1977 he led the NBA in scoring with a 31.1 ppg average with a career high 68 against the NY Knicks on Feb. 25th, 1977. This leather like off-white equipment bag with black piping was used by Maravich circa 1977-78 to carry game worn items. It is in near mint condition with no rips or stains with working zippers. It also contains the original lock and key. A "Pro Keds" logo is featured on either side in blue lettering just above the name "Pete Maravich" in black capitals letters. Another great item from the Maravich family.
