This rare American service flag autographed by the iconic Babe Ruth was carried by a United States soldier in Normandy, France during World War II. The flag measures approximately 6x9” and features a single blue star in the middle. Babe Ruth signed the flag in black ink with the added inscription that appears to read “Sincerely”. The signature is heavily faded but certainly visible. Vintage aging condition issues are present including a tear in the middle of the flag and fading to the colors.
