Seaver and the Chicago White Sox defeated the New York Yankees behind Seaver’s complete game 7 strikeout performance. This official Yankees scorebook and souvenir program remains vibrant and displays beautifully. Inside the program the game from that day has been scored in pencil, with an inscription in pen reading “300th Career Win” beneath Seaver’s stat line.
