Future Hall of Famer Justin Verlander is the recipient of 2 Cy Young awards, an MVP trophy and is a two-time World Series Championship. Verlander wore this jersey during 4 of his 16 wins in the 2018 season. On May 16th he pitched his eighth career complete game shutout with 7 strikeouts against the LA Angels. He also wore it on June 8th in a 9 strikeout performance against Texas, an 8 strikeout game on June 30th against Tampa Bay, August 3rd against the LA Dodgers with 14 strikeouts and September 10th against the Detroit Tigers recording 10 strikeouts. In total, Verlander won 4 games and struck out 48 hitters. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag size “48” with MLB hologram “JD447104”. On the bottom right button path is an additional Majestic tag. Across the chest reads “HOUSTON”.
