HOFer Rickey Henderson’s resume is about a statistically impressive as you can find - 2x WS Champ, all-time leader in runs (2,295) and steals (1,406), 1990 AL MVP. Once asked if he thought Henderson was a future Hall of Famer, statistician Bill James replied, “If you could split him in two, you’d have two Hall of Famers”. The Newark Bears are of the Independent Atlantic league, where Rickey played (post MLB) in 2004 and crushed it there. Team name “BEARS” is displayed across the front. Player number “24” on the back. Both being done in purple tackle will. “NB” team logo patch is on the left sleeve. Rickey signed and inscribed the jersey on the front left mid-section “Ricky Henderson 2004 gamer Runs King S.B. King”, in black marker, in our opinion rating an 8. The sleeves and tail are custom cut. There is a MOS hologram inside the front left tail. Dirt staining on the front. This jersey was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear. Accompanied by a Rickey Henderson (Man Of Steal Sports) LOA. Also accompanied by a full JSA LOA and a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match to an image of Henderson at the 2004 Newark Bears Home Opener and the 2004 Choice Rickey Henderson Newark Bears trading card.
