Sheryl Swoopes was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016. On the front left tail is a Champion distributor’s tag that reads, “DESIGNED & TAILORED BY Champion EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE HOUSTON COMETS 1997”. Adjacent is a “Champion” manufacturer’s tag. On the left inseam is a “Lady Champion” size “12” tag with washing instructions and a materials tag. On the right chest is the official “WNBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads, “COMETS”. The player number “22” appears on both the front and on the back. These are done in white on navy blue tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “SWOOPES” in white tackle twill sewn directly onto the red jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from the family of the former Rocket’s equipment manager.
