The 1996 MLB season was the start of New York Yankees dynasty that won four World Series titles in five years. It was the 94th season for the franchise, on that saw them finish 92-70. This record earned the Yanks their first division title since 1981. New York defeated the Texas Rangers in the ALDS 3-1, then beat the Baltimore Orioles in the ALCS 4-1. Led by the likes of Derek Jeter, Paul O’Neill and Bernie Williams, the ’96 Bronx Bombers rebounded in the Fall Classic after going down two games to none to the Atlanta Braves. Incredibly, they won four straight to start them on their remarkable run. The face of the ring features a bevy of diamonds forming the interlocking ‘NY’ logo on a dark blue stone in the center. ‘WORLD CHAMPIONS’ in raised lettering surrounding the face, with ‘19’ on the left and ‘96’ on the right. Coach name (CARDENAL) in raised lettering on the right shank and Yankee insignia on the left shank. 'LGB 10K' engraved inside the band. This is a size 9.5 ring and weighs approximately 1.4 oz.
