Several great attributes highlight this 1991-92 Doug Wilson San Jose Sharks Inaugural Season Game Worn jersey. First, Wilson had already well established his Hall of Fame credentials in his first 14 NHL seasons, spent with the Chicago Blackhawks, before he was traded to San Jose before their first expansion season. Wilson was the first team captain in franchise history, and though he spent just two years on the ice in San Jose before retiring, he proceeded to serve 19 seasons as the team's general manager. Inside the rear collar is the Maska manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and an adjacent size tag “52”. The Sharks team logo is done on the front in black, silver and brown combination of embroidery and tackle twill. NHL 75th anniversary patch on the right breast and captain’s C on the left. Sharks team logo patch appears on both shoulders. Player number “24” appears on both sleeves, as well as the back. Player name “WILSON” is sewn across the back on a teal nameplate. All lettering and numbering is done in white on black tackle twill. Embroidered on the back left tail is a CCM logo, as well as the NHL logo. Fight strap is intact, with salting present. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
