One of the premier catchers of our generation, Gary Carter was the idol of many. An 11 time All Star, "The Kid" was awarded three Gold Gloves during his 19 years in the big leagues. This 31.4 ounce, 34.5 inch cupped-end Rawlings 113A model bat was produced for Carter's use in the 1986 World Series. 24 members of the 1986 World Champion New York Mets signed the barrel including, Carter, Howard Johnson, Ray Knight, Mel Stottlemyre, Kevin Elster, Bud Harrelson, Raphael Santana, Doc Gooden, Lenny Dykstra, Keith Hernandez, Darryl Strawberry, Kevin Mitchell, Davey Johnson, and others. The blue Sharpie signatures rate from 8 to 10. Although there is no evident game use, this bat has tremendous display value since it was produced for use in a World Series by one of the premier players and teams of our time.
