Holy Wilhelm was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985. A World Series champion and an eight-time All-Star, Wilhelm was the MLB leader in ERA two times. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Below is a strip tag with, “67 Set 1” embroidered on it in navy blue chain-stitching. In the collar the player ID has been removed. On the left chest is the team’s “SOX” logo and the player number “31” appears on the right chest and on the back. These are done in navy blue on white tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “WILHELM” in navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the pinstripe flannel jersey. The name has been restored. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
