Carl Yastrzemski was inducted into Cooperstown in 1989 on the first ballot, with 94.6% voting. He was a Red Sox lifer, with accolades including: 18x MLB Al-Star, 1967 AL MVP & Triple Crown, 7x Gold Glover, a member of the 3,000 hit club and No. 8 retired by the Sox. The face of the ring has a Boston ‘B’ with two shiny stones. Surrounding the face is ‘BOSTON RED SOX AL CHAMPIONS’. The right shank has the year (1967) and a Red Sox logo. Player name (Yastrzemski) etched on the right shank. Etched inside the band is ‘BALFOUR 10K’. This is a size 13.5 ring and weighs approximately .85 oz.
